Lake Side Sunday

If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, you know we typically take a walk to the lake and around the village weekend mornings, and on the rare occasion I am working from home. Today, my little weekend warrior's leg was really bothering him after a day of splashing in the water and chilling on the back of my kayak, but he was still pushing to go for a walk when we got to the end of the driveway while doing his business.

There was no way he would make it to the end of the street without wanting to be picked up and carried, but I knew he wanted to get his morning lake time in, so I decided to drive down to the lake, feed the meter for an hour and let him sit on the Adirondack chairs at the lake's edge and people watch.

 

He's such a spoiled doggie! But, look at the view above. You can't really blame him for loving the lake.
